Eight betters held

At least eight

persons were arrested here for allegedly indulging in betting on the ongoing World T20 match.

Cash over Rs 18,000, 16 mobile phone sets, a motorbike, television sets were seized from them during the raids yesterday, police said here today.

While five persons were arrested from a house at Khapasa Street, three others picked up from Haradakhandi road, police said.
