Eight criminals arrested for looting Rs 2.5 lakh

Eight criminals, who were involved in a dacoity of Rs 2.5 lakh, were today caught while planning another dacoity in Churu district of Rajasthan.

Police also recovered one pistol, one country-made revolver, two live cartridges, one knife, one jeep and a motorcycle from them.

The accused have been identified as Ruparam, Pawan, Ranjeet (all aged 20), Anil Kumar (21), Vikas Kumar (27), Narendra (19) and Jitendra (32), police said.

They have been arrested and being interrogated, they added.
