'Ek Thi RaniAisi Bhi' made tax-free in Chhattisgarh
The Chhattisgarh government has madeVijaya Raje Scindia's biopicmovie"Ek Thi RaniAisi Bhi", starring Hema Malini, tax-free in the state.
"The commercial tax department issued the notification in this regard here from Mantralaya," an official statement said today.
The film portrays the struggle of Vijaya Raje Scindia's (played by Malini) life coupled with Indian independence and history of states.
It shows the social and political personality besides achievements of Scindia, which is a source of inspiration towards women empowerment, the release said.
The film will release tomorrow.
The historical drama has been directed by Gul Bahar Singh.
