Elderly man dies after being punched on chest

An elderly person succumbed to his injuries this morning after he was punched on his chest by a local after a brawl over petty issue at Shyampukur Police Station area, the police said.

Tarun Roy (64) died at a private hospital this morning because of fatal internal injuries caused after he was punched by a local youth Biswajit Majhi (34) following a brawl last night around 11.30 PM, Shyampukur Police station officers said adding, Majhi has been arrested.
