British actress Emma Thompson brought her gorgeous 14-year-old daughter along as her plus one for the evening and the lookalike pair posed together on the red carpet.
The 54-year-old actress' daughter Gaia may have been left a little embarrassed however, as her famous mother pretended to be drunk while on stage to present the best screenplay gong to Spike Jonze for 'Her'.
Thompson was swirling a martini while holding her Christian Louboutin heels in one hand.
The 'Saving Mr Banks' star joked that the designer's signature red soles were in fact red because of her 'blood', as they were hurting her feet so much.
When she was about to be handed the golden envelope with the winner's name in it, Thompson simply tossed the expensive shoes behind her.
The actress looked amazing for the occasion, wearing a long-sleeved gold bodice top attached to a black Lanvin skirt.
Thompson was nominated for best actress in a drama for 'Saving Mr Banks', but lost out to Cate Blanchett who won for Blue Jasmine.
Meanwhile Gaia looked beautiful in a black gown by Laura Ashley, but said she is not used to this kind of glamorous.
