EU leaders 'unanimously' adopt Brexit guidelines: Tusk

EU leaders today unanimously adopted tough guidelines for two years of Brexit talks, in an unprecedented show of unity ahead of divorce negotiations with Britain.

"Guidelines adopted unanimously. (The) EU-27's firm and fair political mandate for the Brexit talks is ready," said EU president Donald Tusk in a tweet as leaders met at a summit in Brussels without British Prime Minister Theresa May.
