Ex-councillor's son shot at; critically injured

Ex-councillor Maya Bhattacharya's son Rajeev (44) was shot at tonight by the assailants, DIG Amitabh Yash said.

He was rushed to a private hospital where his condition is stated to be serious, the DIG said.

Old rivalry is suspected to be the cause behind the shooting, Yash said, adding, investigation in the matter is on. PTI ZIR
