A 55-year-old farmer was allegedly electrocuted after he stepped on a live wire in this district, police said today.
The incident occurred when R Ayyaru of Thurumbur village near Kabisthalam had gone to his paddy field last night.
He was electrocuted after accidentally stepping on a live wire line which had snapped due to rain accompanied by heavy winds, they said.
