Farmer dies of electrocution in Andhra Pradesh

: A 50-year-old farmer died of electrocution when he stepped on a live wire installed illegally in a field in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh, police said Tuesday.

J Venkanna was on the way to his farm when he came into contact with the wire around the field of groundnuts owned by S Phanindra to keep wild boars off, the police said.

On being informed about the incident, the police went to the scene and sent the body of the man for a postmortem.
