Farmer's body found hanging from tree, family claims suicide

A 55-year-old farmer's body was found hanging from a tree at Mujahidpur village here with his family claiming he committed suicide over a debt of Rs 15,000.

Ajay Pal, who went missing on Thursday, allegedly committed suicide yesterday by hanging from a tree in his farms at his village under Ratanpuri police station area, they claimed.

Pal's son Monu said his father was worried over a debt of Rs 15,000 which he owed to the local cane society.
