Popular girls group Fifth Harmony's singer Lauren Jauregui was charged with possession of marijuana after a staffer at the Washington Dulles International Airport stopped her and found what appeared to be a bag of the drug in her carry-on luggage.
Jauregui's attorney Dina LaPolt later clarified that the 20-year-old singer was not arrested but only given a citation, reported E! Online.
"Lauren Jauregui was not arrested and detained as reported, but simply given a citation for possession of marijuana and released on her own recognizance," LaPolt said.
