FIR lodged in dowry death case

An FIR was registered against seven people today in an alleged dowry death case in which a 28-year-old woman woman was found mysteriously on railway tracks here two days ago, police said.

According to police, Ruby, a resident of Chiti village in Dankaur area, was found on railway tracks Tuesday and later the body was cremated by her in-laws, the victim's uncle Jaipal said in his complaint.

Jaipal has lodged the dowry death case against her husband Rahul and six others, police said.
