Fire at multi-storey building

A fire broke out at a multi -

storey building in posh Theatre Road area of the city this morning.

"A fire was detected on the second floor room in a G+8 building with mixed occupancy. The fire was detected from UPS/computer system," fire department offcials said.

The building was evacuated as a precuationary measure and there was no report of any casualty, they said.

Fire department sources said one fire tender had been sent to the spot.

Though a final report was not available, but officials said that the fire was under control.
