Five persons were arrested for allegedly betting on a cricket match between India and West Indies, police said today.
On a tip-off, Gyanendra Jain, Shokin Ghoshi, Ram Singh Gujjar, Himanshu Dikkiwal and Sandeep Jain were held in a flat in Munana area here last night, SHO Muhana, Harikishan Gaud said.
Rs 5,200 cash, 17 mobile phone, a television, one laptop, and two diaries having record of the betting were seized from their possession, Gaud said.
They were released on bail, he added.
