Five arrested for stealing tube wells

Police has busted a gang of thieves by arresting five persons who were allegedly stealing tube wells at Phugana village in the district.

Acting on a tip off, police yesterday arrested five persons and recovered stolen tube wells from them, SHO Ved Prakash Giri said.

The accused have been identified as Anil Kumar, Kalwa, Inder Sain, Sanjay and Sanjiv Kumar.

A case has been registered in this connection, the SHO said.
