Five bombs recovered in Hazaribagh on poll eve

On the eve of polling for Hazaribagh Lok Sabha seat, five improvised bombs were today recovered by security forces from a jungle area of the constituency in Jharkhand.

Officials said the bombs were recovered by a joint squad of CRPF and state police from a place under Vishnugarh police station area which goes to polls tomorrow.

The squad was on an anti-Naxal operations task, they said.

The bombs, kept in cans as Improvised Explosive Devices, were later destroyed, they said.
