Five drug peddlers arrested in Punjab

Five drug peddlers, including a woman, were arrested from separate places and 570 grams of intoxicating powder and 5 grams heroin was recovered from them, police said today.

The culprits have been identified as Rashpal Kaur, Happy Kumar, Inderjit Singh, Gurminder alias Jimmy and Simranjit Singh, they said.

The peddlers were arrested during a routine checking at different places here last night, police said.
