Five held in fraud case

The Economic Offence Wing of Crime Branch of Odisha Police today arrested five persons on charge of fraud.

Police sources said three of them were railway officials and the remaining two were bankmen and the group was allegedly involved in the Sakhigopal SBI fraud case.

At least 51 people siphoned off around Rs 1.17 crore from the bank as loan by producing fake documents between 2003 and 2006.
