They were normal over the rest of the country. The highest maximum temperature recorded over the plains was 40.3 degrees Celsius at Anantpur (Rayalaseema).
Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of Madhya Maharashtra and were below normal in some parts of Himachal Pradesh and of Konkan and Goa. They were appreciably to markedly above normal in some parts of east Uttar Pradesh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalaseema and of Tamil Nadu; appreciably above normal in some parts of Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland-Manipur-Mizoram-Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Bihar, west Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, west Rajasthan, Gujarat state, south interior Karnataka and of Kerala and were above normal in some parts of Arunachal Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh and of Vidarbha and in remaining parts of Assam and Meghalaya and of Tamil Nadu.
They were normal over the rest of the country. The lowest minimum temperature recorded over the plains was 12 degrees Celsius at Amritsar (Punjab) and Ganganagar (west Rajasthan). Hailstorm has been reported at Chindwara (east Madhya Pradesh) between 1705 to 1708 hours IST on 13th March.
