Twelve teams including four from outside India will vie for top honours in the 24th Pradip Memorial T20 cricket tournament beginning at the Hanuman Jew Mini Stadium, Tillo tomorrow.
There will be 15 matches including the finals in the 9-day invitational meet and the organisers expect participation from top Bangladeshi players like Mohammad Ashraful, Jahurul Islam, Mehedi Maruf and Dhiman Ghosh among others.
Most successful Indian skipper MS Dhoni had participated in the tournament in 2002 and 2003 representing SERSA Kharagpur, tournament organisers Lucky Swain said in a release.

The winners will get a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh while the runners-up be richer by Rs 50,000.
The teams will divided into four pools and the top team from each pool will qualify for the semifinals.
The three Bangladeshi teams include Tangail District Sports Association, Southern University, Brother's Cricket Academy, while the tournament will also have a team, MTN Club, from Afghanistan.
