Former Arunachal chief minister bereaved

: Sokjar Gamlin, father of former chief minister Jarbom Gamlin, died in a private hospital at Guwahati early this morning, family sources said.

Sokjar was 91 and is survived by his wife, seven children and several grand and great grand children.

He was the chairman of S&G Printing & Publishing House that owns an English daily newspaper.

He also held the post of political interpreter during the British and Indian rule.
