Four-member gang hacks student to death

A 12th standard student was allegedly chased and hacked to death by a four-member gang here today, police said.

The incident happened around 8.30 am when the deceased, identified as Sudheer E (19), was on his way to write his examination, they said.

Police said Sudheer got off his two-wheeler when he was attacked and boarded a bus, but the gang pulled him out and hacked him to death on the roadside, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Kukatpally Division) N Bujanga Rao said.

Previous enmity is said to be the reason for the attack.
