Four of family booked for dowry

Four persons of a family were today booked for allegedly harassing a woman for dowry here, police said.

The victim, Pooja Agarwal, in a complaint alleged that her husband and in-laws threatened to kill her if their demands were not met, police spokesperson said.

According to the complaint, the victim's in-laws started harassing her for dowry soon after her marriage on April 26 this year.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident, Palwal resident Naresh Kumar registered a complaint against an unidentified tractor driver for crushing his neighbour to death due to negligent driving.

Police said that a complaint has been registered and probe is on.
