Free career guidance centre for tribal by Rampurhat police

A free career guidance programme for tribals started at Rampurhat police outpost today.

Minister of state for Education Ashis Banerjee formally inaugurated the centre.

SDPO Rampurhat Koteswar Rao, who initiated the programme, said, "Tribal students from adjacent villages will be given free coaching by the subject experts. They will get all books and periodicals required from the library attached to this centre. Advanced students will be guided for examinations like IAS, IPS, WBCS etc."

IG, Western range S N Gupta, DIG, Burdwan range, Tripurari, and others were present on the occasion.
