French national dies of cancer in Manali

A French national, who was living in Manali for last several years, reportedly died of cancer in Nasogi village of the district.

Calvez Gean, who was getting treatment from a hospital in France, passed away yesterday, police said.

Gean, who is survived by his wife, was cremated at Manali as per the Hindu rites. He had expressed his desire to be cremated according to Hindu rituals.
