Gang hacks man to death

A 25-year-old man, doing his law degree, was today hacked to death by a three-member gang while he was asleep at home in P K Pudur here.

The gang, on a motorcycle entered the house around 8 AM and asked for the man Tamizhanban, who was asleep in a room.

They locked two other inmates in a room and hacked the man to death with a sickle, police said.

Preliminary investigation revealed that previous enmity was said to be the reason for the murder.
