Gang of robbers busted, 2 arrested in Punjab

Police today claimed to have busted a gang of robbers with the arrest of two persons at Gholian Kalan village near here.

A car and Rs 1.25 lakh in cash which they had snatched from a person yesterday were recovered. A revolver was also seized from them, police said.

Sajayveer Singh and Jagseer Singh were arrested, they said, adding search is on to nab Harjinder Singh and Jaseer Singh, who managed to escape.

Investigation has revealed that the gang was active in Moga, Faridkot and Ferozepur districts, police said.
