The District Magistrate today issued show-cause notices to officials of Ghaziabad Nagar Nigam (GNN) and Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) for not attending the recent 'Samadhan Divas' programme held at the Kavi Nagar police station.
The 'Samadhan Divas' was being organised at different places in the district in order to address residents' grievances related to all departments under one roof.
The show-cause notices were issued after District Magistrate Vimal Kumar Sharma found that officials of GNN and GDA were not present at the 'Samadhan Divas' programme at Kavi Nagar.
The DM has made it clear that stern action will be initiated against officials skipping such programme.
Similar programme was also organised at Sahibabad police station.
