Gram dal moves up in the wholesale foodgrains market

Barring gram dal, prices of all other commodities ruled steady today in the wholesale foodgrains market.

Gram dal today moved further up by Rs 200 per quintal from Rs 8,400 to Rs 8,600.

Thoor dal, urad dal, moong dal, sugar, wheat, maida(90 kg) and sooji (90 kg) prices ruled steady.

Following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities (rates in rupees per quintal, unless stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 13,500, Urad Dal Rs 15,000, Moong Dal Rs 8,900 Gram Dal Rs 8,600, Sugar Rs 3,850, Wheat Rs 2,800, Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,600 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 3,200.
