Gram and its dal prices fell by Rs 200 per quintal per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today on muted demand from retailers at prevailing levels against sufficient stocks position.
However, arhar and its dal moves up on selective buying.
Traders said ample stocks position against fall in demand from retailers kept pressure on gram and its dal prices.

In the national capital, gram, gramdal local and best quality were down by Rs 200 each to Rs 9,000-9,200, Rs 9,800-10,100 and Rs 10,200-10,300 per quintal, respectively.
Besan Shaktibhog and Rajdhani also quoted lower at Rs 4,300 each instead of Rs 4,350 per 35 kg bag.
On the other hand, arhar and its dal dara variety moved up by Rs 250 and Rs 300 to Rs 5,150 and Rs 7,000-8,800 per quintal, respectively.
