Groundnut oil drops in listless trade

Groundnut oil dropped further in an otherwise listless Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following lower demand from stockists and retailers.

While, refined palmolein, castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial and linseeds oil held stable in absence of any large-scale buying.

In the edible section, groundnut oil slid by Rs 20 per 10 kg to Rs 910 from Friday's close of Rs 930 and refined palmolein ended unaltered to Rs 521 per 10 kg.

Moving to non-edible segment, castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial and linseeds oil closed unchanged at Rs 4,665 per 100 kg, Rs 963 per 10 kg and Rs 780 per 10 kg, respectively.
