Guar gum futures up on strong export demand

Guar gum prices rose by Rs 28 to Rs 8,583 per five quintal in futures trade on Tuesday amid strong export demand at spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for September delivery traded higher by Rs 28, or 0.33 per cent, at Rs 8,583 per five quintal with an open interest of 58,040 lots.

Guar gum delivery for October also rose by Rs 30, or 0.34 per cent, to Rs 8,670 per five quintal mirroring an open interest of 8,880 lots.
