There was not much activity at the wholesale gur (jaggery) market in the national capital today as prices moved in a narrow range in scattered deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said adequate stocks against restricted activity mainly kept gur prices at last levels.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 2,700-2,800, pedi Rs 2,700-2,800, dhayya Rs 2,900-3,000 and shakkar Rs 2,900-3,000.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,300-2,350, chakku Rs 2,400-2,600, khurpa Rs 2,300-2,350 and Ladoo Rs 2,500-2,550.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,350-2,400 and dhayya Rs 2,400-2,450.
