Freight rates remain steady on tight cargo movements

Freight rates for nine-tonne pay load section ruled flat in the local truck transport market today following tight cargo movements against ample position of trucks.

Transporters said besides restricted cargo movements, easy availability of trucks, kept freight rates at previous levels.
