Guys can sing about one-night stands but girls can't: Goulding

Singer Ellie Goulding has revealed she does have witnessed sexism in the business.

"There are a lot of positive changes in the music industry, and I see those with myself and my entire team, which is mostly women," Goulding, 27, said.

"The music industry is a very male-oriented industry (and) always has been since I've been around."

The "Something in the Way You Move" singer said her biggest frustration is the double-standard placed on women, reported People magazine.

"It annoys me that guys can easily write about one-night stands, but if a girl writes about one? God, that's terrible, you know?" said Goulding, who hits the road for her next world tour in January.
