Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today visited the headquarter of the Western Command and had a meeting with Lt Gen Surinder Singh, GOC-in-C of the Command.
The General officer commanding-in-chief (GoC-in-C) thanked Khattar for his visit and the support given by the Haryana government to the armed forces and veterans, a defence spokesman said here.
Khattar also highlighted the various initiatives taken by his government towards the welfare of veterans and the joint functioning in the field of security and disaster relief, the official said.
After the meeting, the chief minister was given a brief tour of Chandimandir Military Station.
