Haryana Government will soon conduct survey of unauthorised colonies situated within the municipal limits in the State.

"The survey will be based on certain parameters," an official spokesman said here today.

He said that for conducting the survey, the concerned municipality or Corporation will engage the survey agencies at their own level.

He said that this survey would be conducted where construction has been undertaken on more than 50 per cent plots prior to March 31, 2015.

A resolution to this effect should have been passed by the concerned municipality recommended by the concerned Divisional Commissioner in case of a Municipal Corporation and the Deputy Commissioner in case of municipal council or committee, he further said.

The survey would be conducted in areas where the provisions of Land Acquisition Act, Forest Conservation Act, Environment Protection Act, Work of Defence Act and Indian Electricity Act have not been violated.

He also said the land should not be owned by State and Central Government, Boards, Corporation or Public Sector Undertaking.

While referring to other parameters, he said that such areas should not have industrial unit, commercial building, mall, multiplex, hotel and banquet hall.

The spokesman said that the municipality or Corporation will certify that the fire tender vehicle is accessible to all the houses in the colony.

"The survey report would be submitted within a period of three months," he said.
