The maximum temperature was recorded at 34.1 deg C, one notch above the normal. Yesterday, the day temperature stood at 31.7 deg C, which was two degrees below the normal level.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 26.6 deg C, which is normal for this time of the year.
The city witnessed 0.2 mm of rains till 8.30 PM.
The MeT department said that there was no rains between 8.30 AM to 5.30 PM today. The humidity level hovered between 68 and 92 per cent.
Tomorrow, the weatherman said, the city would witness a generally cloudy sky with one or two spell of rains and thunderstorm.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 34 and 26 deg C.
