Hot weather conditions prevailed in Punjab and Haryana with Hisar being the hottest place in the region.
Hisar in Haryana sizzled at 43.8 degrees Celsius, three degrees above normal, as per the MeT department report.
Ambala and Karnal recorded their respective maximums at 41.1 and 41.4 degrees Celsius.
