Howrah civic body not cooperating with state : Minister

In a direct criticism of the left-run civic body, Hakim said, "while the state always accords importance to implementing any project on time, it is not getting the required help from the Howrah civic body."

State Agriculture Marketing minister Arup Roy said the HMC did not play any significant role in the development of Howrah.

The ministers were speaking at the inaugural function of the newly built KMDA drainage pumping station in Belgachia area of Howrah.
