IAF chief visits Raipur, Jagdalpur to review anti-Naxal ops

IAF Chief B S Dhanoa today held deliberations with anti-Naxal task forces here as well as in Jagdalpur and reviewed their operational prepardness.

He was briefed by the local commanders of various paramilitary forces deployed in the Bastar area.

Dhanoa also interacted with personnel from various state agencies and air warriors to boost their morale, the defence ministry said.

It said he reviewed the operational preparedness of forces deployed in the Maoist-infested areas.
