An employment seminar will be organised at Air Force station Vadsar by South Western Air Command (SWAC) for retired and retiring defence personnel in collaboration with CII.
Corporate sectors from all over will be putting up their stalls for offering jobs as a second career option to the skilled and highly experienced defence personnel, a release issued by defence spokesperson Abhishek Matiman said.
Approximately 60 corporate houses are expected to participate in the seminar, it said.

Around 2,500 retired and retiring defence personnel are likely to take benefit of this seminar, said the release.
"An employment seminar for retired and retiring defence personnel will be held at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Air Force Station Vadsar on July 9, 2017 from 7.30 am to 5.30 pm in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII)," it said.
"The event will generate new employment opportunities for the deserving retired and retiring defence personnel," it said.
"The event is a step towards skill India initiative under the aegis of Directorate General of Resettlement, New Delhi," it said.
From the total seven locations, where these seminars have been planned by DGR, HQ SWAC is one of them to conduct this event in Air Force Station Vadsar for the first time, it said.
The aim is to fit in the retired and retiring defence personnel aptly into the posts of senior supervisors, mid and senior level managers, strategic planners and project directors.
Air Marshal R K Dhir Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, South Western Air Command will inaugurate the seminar.
