Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das and Intelligence Bureau Director D Sharma today discussed about rooting out Left Wing Extremism (LWE), with Das saying development strategies are as important as security measures in solving the problem.
Discussing on law and order with Sharma, specially on LWE, the Chief Minister said skill development programmes were launched in several Maoist-affected areas making it a campaign, with participation from banks, industries and other public sectors.
"Agriculture is another area, which can be developed to provide work for the people round the year," an official release said quoting Das, who added development strategies and security measures should go side by side.
