IDBI Bank sells 2.46 pc stake in CARE via open market sale

Public sector IDBI Bank has pared its stake in Credit Analysis and Research Ltd (CARE) through open market to 0.94 per cent.

The shares were sold during August 29 to September 6, 2016, it said in a regulatory filing.

IDBI Bank held 3.4 per cent (10,00,000 shares) stake in CARE before the share sale. It sold 2.46 per cent (7,22,029 shares) to bring its stake down to 0.94 per cent currently.

Shares of IDBI Bank closed 1.84 per cent up at Rs 74.70 on BSE.
