"IDBI Federal Life Insurance will also be the new title sponsor of 9th Edition of Kolkata's only full Marathon. IDBI Federal Life Insurance Kolkata Marathon 2016, as it is called now, will take place in the City of Joy on March 6, 2016", the IDBI Federal Life said in a statement.

Ex-Apple India top executive launches own mobile venture Hyve
Former Apple India's Head for enterprise mobility Sharad Mehrotra has joined as CEO of Hyve, a start-up which will launch android-based mobile phones in March.
"Mehrotra has come on board with Hyve on January 4, 2016 and served his last working day at Apple India on December 29, 2015," Hyve said in a statement.
He is a co-founder of Hyve along with Aditya Agarwal and Abhishek Agarwal.
"Hyve will be targetting the market segment of Rs 15,000- 20,000 with its flagship model in March. It will soon be followed by other models to address 10,000-30,000 market segments," a company spokesperson said.

ShoreTel appoints ex-IBM official as country manager
Phone systems provider ShoreTel today announced it has appointed Arun Balasubramaniam as country manager of India.
In his role, he will be responsible for building relationships and driving sales for ShoreTel in India. He will oversee sales strategy from customer acquisition to retention, as well as partner recruitment and management in the region, the company said.
He has over 16 years of experience in technology industry. Prior to joining ShoreTel, Balasubramaniam was the national channel leader for IBM's collaboration solutions business in India and South Asia, and has also held roles at TrendMicro and Microsoft, it said.
