India and France will enhance cooperation in the education sector and the mobility of students between the two countries, Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar said today.
The remarks by the minister came after a meeting with members of the French Senate Committee on Culture and Education.
"Had a good meeting with members of Committee Culture of French Senate led by its Chairperson Ms Catherine Morin-Desailly (sic)," Javadekar tweeted.

"Talked about various aspects of enhancing cooperation in education and mobility of students between India and France," he added.
At present, around 5,000 Indians are studying in France while around 100 French students are enrolled in various educational institutions here.
