An Indian has been charged with molesting a nine-year-old girl inside a government school in Bahrain.
The 42-year-old, who worked as a cleaner in the school, allegedly molested the victim inside a toilet during break time, the Gulf Daily News reported today.
The accused then paid the girl 500 fils (about Rs 80) to try and stop her from telling anyone about the attack.
The man, who is being held in custody, earlier denied the charge at the High Criminal Court.
The trial was adjourned to November 12.
