Indian Made Foreign Liquor worth Rs 62,000 seized in Nashik

Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) worth Rs 62,000 was seized from a car in the wee hours today from Chopda laws area here and three persons were detained, police said.

Acting on a tip-off, police intercepted a car at around 3 AM and seized the Indian Made Foreign Liquor worth Rs 62,000, said Sitaram Kolhe, in-charge of Sarkarwada police station.

Three persons were detained in this connection and investigations are on, he added.

In another incident, police today seized Rs 30,000 cash from a person and probe was underway, another official said.
