Industrialist M A M Ramaswamy has approached the Madras High Court seeking a direction to police to register a case against two of his employees who, he alleged, are refusing to hand over the locker keys and the documents of his vast property and estate.
In his petition, Ramaswamy said his employees R M Palaniappan and E Sarvothaman had been vested with custody of important documents like wills, partition deeds, agreements, court orders and revenue records.
The documents were all kept under lock and the keys kept on the fifth floor of the Rani Seethai Hall building on Anna Salai. However, when he wanted access to the lockers and the documents, the duo refused to hand over the keys, he alleged.
