Infant found dead in drainage in Telangana

A female infant was found dead inside a drainage in Devarakonda town in the district today, police said.

A passerby saw the infant at the road side and informed the police, an official attached with Devarkonda Town police station.

The body was shifted to the local government hospital where a postmortem is likely to be conducted. The identity of the infant is yet to be ascertained, he said.
